The Lost Angel

Woe to you, lost angel
Tempter of man, thief of fate
Your darkness is filled with confusion
Your disposition is cold malice
Why do you persist in your useless destruction?
What victory do you claim through deceit?

You know the answers even before you ask the questions
What you vainly denounce as useless may one day prove to be your very salvation
My path is strewn along before me, and desire as I might to stray,
It is for me the surest road
