They’re having a free-for-all. Anything goes. This is the day they’ve waited for. Everything they’ve always hoped for. A veritable dream come true. Smash and grab. Divide and destroy. Divvy up and pocket. Spread that plunder amongst The Unelected Elect. Saw and hack. Chip and chop. Drown that baby in the bathtub. Every dirty deal is as good as done, and every grift is fair game. There’s a new sheriff in town and he’s brought his own posse along. All who oppose him are evildoers by definition, to be denounced and diminished and ridiculed and persecuted. The time for vengeance has come. No punishment is too petty. They’re having a free-for-all. Anything goes. Everything they’ve always hoped for. A veritable dream come true…
